Stress Technique

I chose to try the time-management stress technique.
By being able to measure out what you need done. Along with putting a realistic time frame and goal for it to be completed, is a good way to manage stress. I believe that is one of the best ways to over come stress. By planning ample time to do a good job on a task or project is key, rather than rushing through it.
Personally I make lists of things that I need to complete, but I never set time frames to do them. So, normally I end up knowing what I need to do, but rarely finish them in a timely matter. I then continue to procrastinate.
I need to include time estimations along with my tasks that I need t complete in order to accomplish these tasks without stressing over time, or the quality of the finished product.

*UPDATE* I actually have began the process of scheduling out things I need to do daily and things that are less important that I should save for my free time. I have been feeling less crunched for time also !

  1. Time management is one of biggest struggles too. How are you keeping track of your schedule? Is it a daily calendar or an agenda? Are you writing it down in a journal or a to-do list?

  2. Glad to hear that you can drop your stress levels fairly easily. Do you have any suggestions for days when you can't schedule everything in one day?

  3. Good to hear that this technique helped you manage your time better. I feel that everyone should practice this technique because in our current era as college students, it almost seems that free time is not included in our lives anymore because we make no time for it, which leads to stress. Most people do not want to risk "wasting time" on free time because they do not see the benefits. On the other hand, it does affect an individual to have some free time to do whatever he/she desires.

  5. Having too much stress may not be good for you, but I know setting a goal and getting things done on a daily schedule is a good thing to do to help with your stress. I would sometimes set out goals and do them one at a time in case I have too much trouble. Good luck on getting your tasks done!
